Our trials and testing resources are accelerating the use of energy storage systems around Australia
The University of Adelaide, together with SA Power Networks and support from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA), has invested more than $3 million over five years building a range of energy storage test capabilities. The results and resources from the Australian Energy Storage Knowledge Bank project are now available to industry and researchers looking to develop or use energy storage systems across Australia.
The project has developed a suite of energy storage testing resources and trial data to help accelerate the use of energy storage systems around Australia. The knowledge bank includes case studies and data gathered from tests and deployments carried out by the Australian Energy Storage Knowledge Bank project. It also includes results from other battery deployments around Australia and the world, all stored together in one easy-to-access online location.
